Nature's Way was conceived by Julie Doublett over 29 years ago. Starting out in rented premises on Woodplumpton Road, we moved to our current location 25 years ago. Julie has been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years and works as a therapist in the Salon part time and is also a fully qualified Hairdresser. She has also been involved with training young apprentices, working with Preston College and has passed her A1 Assessors qualification. Julie has always strived to provide top quality treatments in pleasant and relaxing surroundings.

Julie specialises in: Permanent Make-Up and Cosmetic procedures including the removal of Thread Veins, Skin Tags and Seborrhoeic Warts, Milias and Electrolysis

Cheryl Louise Marsden

I have been around the hair and beauty industry for 8 years. I initially trained at Preston College in Hair and Beauty to Level II where I found I had a passion for Beauty treatments and I especially enjoyed massaging. I decided to pursue my career by returning to Preston College to train to Level III and whilst there I was awarded the Student of The Year Award.

Making people feel good about themselves is a big part of being a good beautician. The effort put in by a therapist is important for every client who walks in through the door. I find it is so satisfying to know that I can make a difference to someones self worth.

I am trained in varied approaches that I’ll tailor to you. I specialise in working with anxiety, low mood/depression, relationships and building confidence. I often work with people with varied and complex issues such as trauma and grief. I have experience of working with and understanding people living with long-term health conditions. I can support you to gain understanding, explore behaviours, thoughts and emotions and towards any changes you would like. I can offer practical approaches for you to use, offering options for you to decide what feels right.

I create a comfortable and safe place for you. Creating a partnership that is professional and helping you to feel quickly at ease. I work on rediscovering and building on your own resources. They may be finding compassion and care for yourself, trusting in yourself or putting yourself first.

I have worked continuously in the hairdressing industry for over 35 years but I am still passionate about hair and endeavour to always give 100% in everything I do.

My passion is perming; colouring and foilwork to create or enhance your style.

I provide a fully bespoke colouring service using fine, natural, multi tonal weaves to create a soft, natural, healthy finish - I LOVE TO FOIL!! - but I want to look after your hair at the same time. I take a long term approach to your colouring ensuring that the condition of your hair is paramount and your colour choices and style last without detriment to your hair.

My experience and professionalism has given me the confidence and ability to create the right colour to compliment skin tones and the right style and hair cut shape, alongside creating texture, body or full on corkscrews by perming to suit you and your personality.
